About these terms

These terms and conditions apply whenever you visit or use Opal Accessories at opalaccessories.com ("the website"), whether or not you create an account. By using the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

We've written these terms in plain English. Where we say "we", "us" or "our" we mean the operator of Opal Accessories. Where we say "you" we mean the person using the website.

Who can use the website

You may only use the website if:

• you are aged 18 or over, and
• you live in the United Kingdom, and
• using the website is lawful where you are.

We ask you to confirm your age when you first visit and again when you create an account. If we believe a player is under 18 or lives outside the UK, we will close the account and delete its details.

Free to play, no real money

Opal Accessories is a free-to-play games website for entertainment only. There is no real-money gambling on the website. You cannot pay for anything, and you cannot win money, prizes or anything with real-world value.

Coins are virtual. They have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, transferred to another person or exchanged for anything. Success in our free games does not mean you would succeed at real-money gambling.

Your account

• Creating an account is optional. Every game can be played without one.
• You may have one account only. The details you give us must be true and your own.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away through the contact form if you think someone else has used it.
• If you sign up with Google, Google's own terms also apply to that sign-in.
• After five wrong passwords in a row we pause sign-in for that account for 15 minutes.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Coins, daily coins and levels

• New accounts receive 50,000 welcome coins. Signed-in players can collect 10,000 coins once every 24 hours.
• Levels (our opal grades) are worked out from points you earn by joining, collecting daily coins and opening games.
• We may change coin amounts, daily coins, level rules or reset balances, for example to fix an error. Because coins have no value, no compensation is due for such changes.
• Games may show their own in-game coin amounts. These are part of the game and are also virtual.

Our games

All games on the website are made by our own studio and hosted on our own server. Results are random. We try to keep every game available and working, but we don't promise that the website or any game will always be available or free from errors.

We may add, change or remove games at any time.

Acceptable use

When using the website you must not:

• use bots, scripts or any automated means to play games or collect coins;
• try to get into accounts, files or parts of the server that aren't meant for you;
• interfere with the website's security or try to overload it;
• copy, frame or republish our games, artwork or text without our written permission;
• use the website for anything unlawful, or send us abusive or offensive messages.

Our content

The games, artwork, text, logos and design of Opal Accessories belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to play on the website for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the website free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using, or not being able to use, the website or any game, including any loss of virtual coins or levels.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle your personal information is explained in our privacy policy. The cookie we use is explained in our cookie policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is important we'll show a notice on the website. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
